We're almost done with the Dawson/Scott CD project, which we hope to have completed by March of 2010.  We've already got ten studio pieces done (We're thinking of putting a live performance track on as well!), which can be found on the Dawson/Scott page of this site, as well as at Cyndi's MySpace and on the new Dawson/Scott Reverb Nation page.  You can also find us on our new Jango site!  Have a visit and if you like our music, feel free to leave us a positive rating and a nice comment!  More news on upcoming performances, appearances, and iRadio interviews coming up!

    My good friend, Singer/Songwriter/guitarist and author/journalist Carol Barbieri is co-hosting an open mic night with musician Cook Smith.  Their acoustic open mic is held at Val's Tavern at 123 East River Road in Rumson, NJ.  The event is held every Monday evening from 9:00 PM until 12:00 Midnight.  However, if you would like to come and perform a piece or two, please arrive by 8:00 PM to sign up.  Please stop by and sit in (or just hang out and check out all of the amazing local talent)!

This is a truly amazing event.  Dawson/Scott are honored to have been asked to be featured at the book launch party for very good friend and literary tour-de-force Puma Perl's new book, Knuckle Tattoos!  We'll be doing a short set of selections from our soon to be completed/released CD.  I'll also be sitting in on bass with Puma and good friends and musical cohorts Tommy Abousleman (guitar) and Rick Lewis (keyboards) as well as percussionist Robert Gibbons on a couple of Puma's pieces.
